The seasons are ever changing. Lilies bloom, poppies grow, the corn and wheat pile high and the sun rays dawn down on us. Each season the crops and flowers do what nature tells them to do, grow. When the season is over the gardener or the farmer continues on with their job, although they were always tending.
Where are you at in your season of life? Are you bearing fruit or are you on the off season of dormancy? Whose your Gardner or Farmer in life?
Life brings us all kinds of surprises, but when we have a farmer (God) who works all year around, preparing us for our seasons, Why fret?.
Dry or fruitful, God is there to provide and care for us.
Do you see the flowers and crops worrying? Of Course not! They just bud and sprout when the appropriate time comes.
Should we not be the same? Not worry about the how's, why's or when's of life.
Control is something we as individuals struggle with. You see, the flowers and crops have no control over their destiny. The farmer and mother nature control how they will bloom and bear fruit.
What are you trying to control that's out of your control? A health diagnosis, a death, a long sought after pregnancy? Whatever it is, give the control up and hand it over to God. Your season of hurt, pain, and uncertainty won't last forever. You just have to trust and believe for it!
Your faith in Christ will move mountains... Trust me, I've been there.
Just like those flowers, we all have a set date for our season to begin and end. Instead of thinking and worrying in your season, blow easy like the flowers and grow strong and tall like the crops.
Let your Alpha and the Omega (Beginning and End) God care for you in your season.
Grow through what you go through, so when the next season comes, you'll be stronger, wiser, and better prepared.
"Look at the lilies and how they grow. They don't work or make their clothing, yet Solomon in all his glory was not dressed as beautifully as they are. And if God cares so wonderfully for flowers that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow, he will certainly care for you. Why do you have so little faith?" Luke 12:27-28
